According to the CDC, 1 in 12 teens attempts suicide each year. Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for 15 to 24 year olds.
As many as 1 in 6 people will become seriously suicidal at some point in their lives.
1 in 12 drug-related emergency room visits made by adolescents are suicide attempts (SAMHSA)
Wyoming was #1 in the nation in suicides in 2006 and 4th in the nation in 2007.
