2005 – 2009 Crashes:

  • Total Fatal Crashes: 32
  • Total Fatalities: 38
  • Total Serious Injury Crashes: 208
  • People Seriously Injured: 270 (in injury + fatal crashes)

2005 – 2009 Crashes and Seatbelts:

  • 71% of those who died had access to seatbelts but were NOT buckled
  • 42% of those with incapacitating injury had access to seatbelts but were NOT buckled

2005 – 2009 Impaired Driving

  • 22% of fatal crashes and 26% of deaths involved impaired driving
